As we prepare for the opening of our first Minds of Tomorrow Studio in North Miami, please know that we are closely following the recommendations from health authorities, such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Reopening Florida’s Schools and the CARES Act or The American Academy of Pediatrics Guidance for School Re-entry.
· Ensure the safety and wellness of all the kids, their families and the Minds of Tomorrow staff at all times.
· Deliver high-quality learning experiences for the kids.
· Provide flexibility in instructional delivery models, to make learning as easy, convenient and fun as we can.
Face coverings at all times are required for any person inside the studio and hand sanitization will be required upon entry. In addition, hand sanitizers have been distributed throughout the space and our personal will invite the kids and adults to use them frequently.
Strict cleaning procedures have been designed that involve increased frequency and the use of EPA approved disinfectants (EPA List N). Out of this list, we will be using products labeled as safe for humans and the environment with no strong respiratory irritants or asthma triggers, and have no known carcinogenic, reproductive, or developmental effects.
We have cut in half the maximum occupancy inside the studio at any point in time, classes will have a maximum of four kids and one instructor.
Everybody entering the studio, families, staff, visitors, will get temperature checks on arrival. Temperature will be checked via a hand-held non contact Infrared thermometer.
Temporary adjustments will be in place to promote physical distancing within the studio. Predetermined areas have been designated to ensure social distancing at all times.
Activities and curriculums may be modified in order to adapt to potential remote scenarios or additional reduction of density within the studio.
Ultimately, when it comes to your kid’s education, we are truly all in this together. Especially now, we recognize that the Minds of Tomorrow nascent community: staff, parents, and children must all pull together to ensure the social and emotional well-being that is the foundation for learning. We are and will be here to help in any way we can. Help us keep each other healthy.
